An easy AI "hack" I'm testing right now
I’m doing a test on LinkedIn right now with AI-generated images.
Not for writing posts, because I still think AI isn’t good enough and we should be writing our own posts (as I explained in my last email here), but for including an AI-generated image with each of my posts.
Here’s why:
on Canada Day I made a quick post on LinkedIn and included an AI-generated image of “me” and my “daughter” in the backyard
that post did noticably well
the next day, I made another LinkedIn post with another AI-generated image as a test to see if it also does well. I usually don’t include images in my posts, so want to see if it’s a pattern
still too early to tell based on results, but I’ll keep you posted
Also got me thinking of a quick chat I had with a lovely newsletter subscriber who is having a lull in business right now (usually happens in the summer for me as well, depending on industry) and knows he needs to up his marketing/sales game.
Of course, building his personal brand is one of those things he’s been slacking on and knows he needs to improve, but is lacking the experience, direction and motivation.
So I’ve decided to run another cohort of my LinkedIn Growth program, where:
I share a weekly guide for 4 weeks on how to start/grow your presence on LinkedIn (setting goals, optimizing profile, picking the right schedule, how to post quality content, etc.)
You’ll get a weekly set of tasks to complete and be held accountable for
We’ll have an end-of-week check-in and Friday Grind session to get more work done
You can build your network with other solopreneurs working on building their personal brand/business as well
Note: most of these lessons and advice can be applied to other social media platforms as well (Insta, Youtube, Twitter, etc.).
It’s worked well in the past, especially because I can speak from experience (having amassed over 18.6k followers myself) and continue to test and tweak strategies as per my example above.
Anyway, if interested in growing your brand using LinkedIn or a related platform, just hit “reply” and let me know, and I’ll send more details.
Have a great day,
