The big events you missed on Friday
Still buzzing from the big Friday funday.
For those of you who took part, thank you again, for those of you who missed it, have no fear.
I have some make up content for you here.
Now in case you missed it, my Friday email highlighted 2 huge events I was putting on, ironically, on the very same day: a LinkedIn live building custom AI with Google’s Gemini, and a virtual work session.
Both went really well, perhaps even better than expected:
The only hitch with the first, the LinkedIn live, is that I had to start about 7 minutes late because my morning trial appearance ran late (more on that in another email).
But alas, I was able to go live and proceeded to create a custom Gemini Gem, from scratch, to help automate my LinkedIn newsletter, and then generated a newsletter and post it, all on video.
And luckily for you, my lovely subscriber, it was recorded. So if you want to watch the replay of me making a custom Gem to automate generating my LinkedIn newsletter (which you could also apply to automating a whole bunch of other things too), check it out on youtube here.
Next up was the virtual work session, where 4 of us logged onto my Google Meet, spent 5 minutes introducing ourselves and announcing what we’d be working on, then muting our mics and working intensely for 45 minutes, then spending 10 minutes to go over our progress, share thoughts/feedback, etc.
Suffice to say, it was super fun and productive:
I finalized a new limited scope retainer template I needed to send to a prospective family law client
Farhan finished a sales pitch deck using Canva
Justin got a bunch of work done for a client of his immigration practice
Jaskaran did some file work and took a consultation call from a client
Suffice to say, it was a productive hour, especially considering it was Friday at 3:30pm (which is right around when I usually start to fade into weekend mode).
Feedback was great too: “I thought the session went really well - focused, intimate, and outcome-oriented. Keeping it to a small group was ideal.”
Because of that, I’m going to keep running it every Friday - both for members of the Solopreneur Grind Mastermind (SGM) and you loyal subscribers, as long as there’s room (SGM members will get prio of course).
If you’re interested in joining this Friday, stay tuned for my Friday morning email (and make sure you’re 1 of the first 5 people to respond to it) or make sure to subscribe to SGM here:
If you have any questions, just hit “reply” and let me know (but no need to try and reserve your spot for Friday yet, that is first come, first serve on the Friday email).
Have a great day,
