This was a fun episode as I went a little off script from the traditional solopreneur, although we still touched on it plenty.
Here’s why:
Sam runs a news site called Yournews.com which is flipping the script on the entire news industry. While he’s already scaled beyond a traditional solopreneur, the business model, relation to content creation and his experience were too much to pass on as a guest
News, content creation, journalism and more are being transformed by tech and AI, so I thought the timing was great to discuss all 3
His website gives independent journalists - aka solopreneurs - an opportunity to earn an income online by doing what they love, and I wanted to highlight that
And of course, many more topics, lessons and stories that we covered.
